Dresdner Bank Lateinamerika is the South American private banking arm of Dresdner Bank. Globus is a Private Banking System that covers everything from Retail to Securities Trading and was being implemented in ten branches in Germany and South America – a $50 million project.
In my role I managed a team of eight business analysts and six developers in the Design Phase. This role included project management, planning and tracking using EDS methodologies. It also included the resourcing, organisation and mentoring of teams
EDS was implementing a $50 million private banking system for Dresdner Bank into 7 countries – Germany, USA, Panama, Cayman Islands, Brazil and Chile.
- Managed a multicultural team of 15 analysts in the planning and requirements phase for Germany and Latin America. Managed staff with 5 languages in 7 countries. Delivered on time and on budget
- Managed a three-tiered project management team – EDS Germany, EDS USA and Dresdner Bank.
- Developed relationships with Dresdner Bank business owners to understand, and cater to, business drivers, needs and resources.
- Consolidation of requirements to reduce development time by 20%
